Rev. Beverly CroweTipton - Pastor
Beverly CroweTipton received her appointment to Zion UMC in June 2016. She is from Anderson and enjoyed living in the Midwest for many years before returning East. Before coming to Zion, she was appointed to the Fairview/St. Paul Charge in Easley for more than two years. She also served Advent UMC in Simpsonville, SC, as the Pastor for Spiritual Formation for eight years having begun ministry at Advent in 2005 as Pastor to Children and their Families. She has also been the editor of Formations, an Adult Sunday School curriculum for Smyth & Helwys Publishing.
Beverly is married to Vaughn CroweTipton, Associate Vice President of Spiritual Life at Furman University in Greenville, SC. They have two adult children: Jared and Abby. Jared and his spouse, Marybeth, and son, Noah, live in Columbia. Abby is in Houston, Texas working toward a PhD in Biblical Studies at Rice University. Beverly enjoys reading, journaling, and having friends around her table.

Dennis Adams - Choir Director
Dennis is a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church, following his grandparents and parents in membership and service. He continues to grow in knowledge and service with experience and the support of many dedicated and talented choir members.
Dennis and his wife Debbie have two children, Aprile and Alan, and 4 grandchildren, Abigail, Lakin, Averi, and Amos, all of whom are members of Zion. Besides music he enjoys whitewater rafting, ballroom dance, golf, cruising, and fishing.

Jennifer Coats - Organist
Jennifer Coats is a life-long member of Zion United Methodist Church and has been a part of the music ministry since her teenage years. She has a very rare and unique opportunity of working each Sunday with her brother, Dennis Adams, who is the Choir Director.
Jennifer is married to Wayne Coats. Their family includes their children, Jenilyn Mulkey and Adam Coats; their children by marriage, Matthew Mulkey and Kaileigh Coats; and their precious grandchildren, Grayson, Brayden, Ansley and Charlie.
Jennifer enjoys her music, her art classes, and spending time with her family.

Merebeth Adams - Children's Director
Merebeth Adams is a dedicated educator who wants to continue her goals of teaching about God’s love, creating valuable relationships, building confidence in young adults and children, and working to shape future community leaders through this leadership position at Zion.
Merebeth is Assistant Principal at Wren Middle School.

Alan Adams - Youth Minister
Alan Adams has worked with the Youth at Zion for 14 years and has been a member at Zion United Methodist his entire life. He is from Anderson and graduated from Clemson University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He is currently the Resident Construction Engineer for the SCDOT in Oconee County and a licensed professional engineer. Alan enjoys anything that has to do with Clemson sports, being a youth leader, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Marla Fuller - Administrative Assistant
Marla Fuller has come out of retirement after serving for 17+ years at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Seneca as Minister of Adult Discipleship and Communications. She loves working with the computer, and thoroughly enjoys serving as Zion's Administrative Assistant.
Marla has a Master's Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary with a concentration in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction. She is a spiritual director and meets with individuals who are seeking to deepen their faith and relationship with God, and to explore God's purpose for their lives.
Marla is married with two four-footed "children."
