Monthly activities for persons over 55 years old
Pickleball
Pickleball groups meet four days each week. A mixed group plays on Sunday evenings at 6:30. Ladies play Pickleball on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10 am.
Trunk or Treat
A family and community favorite in October.
Lunch Bunch
Zion Lunch Bunch meets the last Friday of each month at 12 noon at a variety of area restaurants
Youth Trips
Our youth enjoy regular outings, such as Camping in Blairsville, Georgia with Whitewater Rafting and a Cave Excursion; beach trip to Destin, Florida; Pigeon Forge; Skiing at Winterplace, WV and Snowshoe, WV
Lunches and Dinners on Lots of Occasions
Fat Tuesday Dinner, Lenten Luncheon, Thanksgiving Luncheon, to name a few
Outings and Picnics
We love to celebrate our community and one way we do that is to gather for picnics, for example, our churchwide picnic at Sadler's Creek State Park.

Vacation Bible School
Although the primary goal of VBS is to grow the faith of children through fifth grade, you can tell by this photo that the kiddos and the leaders have lots of fun!
Youth vs. Parents Softball Game

Fun "How To" Classes
We have learned how to make wreaths, how to bake Irish Soda Bread and how to make beautiful Greeting Cards using colored pencils.
Easter Egg Coloring and Hunt
A favorite activity for our children, usually before Easter.
Christmas Cantata and Reception
Each December, our sanctuary choir prepares and performs a beautiful and meaningful Christmas Cantata, followed by a festive reception.
Zion Basketball Team
The Zion men ended up second in the Anderson Church League Open Division.
